“Bluetooth headphones and get sound from TV and headphones I need a solution that will enable my husband to use my bt Bose headphones and I can still hear the tv speakers. He is almost deaf and has to wear headphones. Would I be able to connect the speaker to the TV, Bluetooth the headphones to that speaker, have him control his volume and I can control TV volume for me?”

Unfortunately these won't work in the way that you need them to. On this speaker the modes are all individual and only one at a time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it has Bluetooth capability. I connected the soundbar to 2 iPads, 1 MacbookPro, my iPhone and of course the TV. So as long as least the Bose Headphones are the Bluetooth version you can hook it up too! There's a button on the remote to change it to the Bluetooth output. The only thing is that if you have multiple devices hooked up like I do you need to make sure that the previous Bluetooth device is disconnected before switching over to another. Also, on a personal note. The reason I bought the sound bar is b/c I'm deaf in my left ear so the regular volume/sound from the tv speakers isn't loud enough for me. The soundbar solves that problem. "Standard" is enough but sometimes if I just need to focus/hear the dialog without the background noise I switch it to "News". If you're looking to do both watch tv and listen from both the tv speakers & headphone via soundbar it should work as long as least the sound bar is connected via RCA jack. I've turned up the tv and had the soundbar on for extra boost when watching movies. If you just want to use the sound bar make sure the tv volume is turned all the way down. It's a nice gift to get for your husband.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Interesting application. If the Bluetooth headphones are powered (amplified) with a volume control, you should be fine. However, if you keep the soundbar soft, the Bluetooth may be too soft to be heard by him without amplification.
