“On screen volume level display? I'm wondering if there is any way to get the volume level of the sound bar to display on screen when you raise or lower the volume? I can change the volume just fine but there is no visual feedback whatsoever. Currently using a visual optical audio cable to connect it to the tv.”

Unfortunately, because it doesn't have a video connection to the TV, it cannot show its volume level on the screen. If your TV can control the volume for the output going to the soundbar, you could get it to show, but not all TVs are going to have that option.
