“A/V defined to TIVO remote with 4 digit code (1234) can control the A/V device. I have a SAMSUNG HLS-6188w 61" DLP TV with the output of standard non-digital sound diminished to the point the TV is useless. The TV does have a digital fiber-optic output which is working fine. I purchased an NS-SB314 SoundBar and it works great. The problem is that I would like for the TIVO remote to perform the functions of (Power up/down, Volume, and mute). There are dozens of A/V devices which are defined to TIVO and work great. Does anyone know what the four digit code might be for the Insignia sound bar. There is one code in the TIVO data base 1061, but it does not a match and does not work.”

This will unfortunately be a question for Tivo, as the answer will depend on how they programmed the codes into their remote. If they do not have a valid code for Insignia, you may try codes for Zenith, Sansui, or Orion equipment.
