• You can pair it with a cell phone or a tablet but not another speaker. it has a bass port connection on the back is all. try using the NEWS format it works for me.

• The Bluetooth on the device is for input, I.E - you can stream you phone's music to the soundbar. When you set the Bluetooth setting you don't get any other input.

• No not for this unit you need a Sony sound bar with blue tooth

• I purchased the soundbar because I have a window AC unit that drowns out the sound of my television. I think it will be just fine for what you need to use it for. It's a nice inexpensive fix to your problem.
