Soundbar powers up but no sound coming from sound bar with the use of either cable. Even tried in on another tv with no success.”

You may have audio in and audio out cables plugged in the wrong way. I did that at first and now my soundbar, FYI , same brand and type works perfect. Match your color coding. Also make sure your remote mute button isn't on !
