• Most any sub will work, although one that can be in standby mode and reacts when the low spectrum is sent from the sound bar would be best. Also, you don't need one with a gazillion watts. 60 to 100 would be perfect.

• Unit has a line level out. You could use any you choose.

• Um I don't know depending on room size you may not need it. Ok now that the Vizio has the sub and that's what my friend recommended to me

• This subwoofer has the standardized subwoofer out connection that will allow you to connect to most subwoofers. Make sure the subwoofer that you use provides its own power.
