• The item works fine with my laptop. The problem i wasn't aware of was the fact that the laptop had a standard three prong plug, but this item only accepts two prong plugs. We had to go buy an adapter, sometimes called a ground fault isolator. They can be purchased in home stores usually, but it is not the ideal situation. Does it work? Yes it does. What I've found out is that most transformers don't actually accept three prong plugs which seems odd to me. But yes it is rated for the laptop and works fine so far. Hope this helps.
