what is the vertical extention null

If you mean how tall is it--it is only one height; neither the legs nor the phone holder extend taller. If you want it to be higher, you have to set it on or affix it to something taller.

It does not extend vertically, however, the bendy legs can be wrapped around an object to get more height.

Basically about a foot. what you see is what you get on the picture. I bought it so i could use my phone as a webcam not really as a selfie stick.
