• Lots of open areas to run wires and cables. Suggest you do this before securing the top glass.

• The back panel is fixed. However, there are 6 oval slots (enough for any cable configuration) - 3 on each side, 1 above each shelf.

• The back is stationary and I had no trouble pulling the wires through to attach to receiver. The stand is very attractive and I am using much of the space for books. I did not use the bottom shelf.
