“Is the main shelf contained within the glass doors adjustable or fixed? Other questions here say you can remove the shelf for the receiver but I'm not sure if that means it can be adjusted to accommodate a taller receiver. Thx for the help!”

No adjustment, but you could leave the middle piece out to give a much bigger bottom shelf. I currently have my sound bar on the top shelf with Xbox and ps on the next down shelf behind the doors.

I have a shelf on the last and top notches and none of the shelves are able to fit a blu-ray case standing up , it that gives you and reference. You might was to remove the shelves that would give you an opening of maybe about a foot height. Hope this helped.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The product offers two positions for the middle shelf. Neither position offers room enough to store DVDs on edge. The middle shelf can be left out altogether with no change in apparatus stability but it is not an easy removal. It is best to make the decision to leave out the middle shelf during assembly. Done that way, there will be substantially more vertical height but less square foot storage.
