• It is constructed of particleboard, the unit weighs 114 pounds, and it does come in a box. It does also require assembly.

• It does come in a box and weighs roughly around 130. Also the wood is not that cheap osb stuff it's very sturdy.

• I am not sure what kind of wood it is. The box is really heavy though.The people in the store felt sorry for me because I was by myself and they were having trouble with it in the store. I can say it is very heavy though your going to need something to carry it on or you plus one or two other people

• It is chip wood.. The box is pretty heavy, probably about 45 lbs or thereabout.
