• no. usb pd protocol negotiates power between device and adapter, and the charger does not have ability to output too much voltage and it is impossible to output too much current so there is no mathematical possibility for it to damage a macbook

• I dont believe so , usb devices will use the power requested by the device , unlike a dc adapter .... the wrong voltage = zap

• I feel like it would because my brand new laptop battery used to last so long before I started using this charger. Now it dies fast and it is because of this generic charger.

• I am not sure. But I always wrap my MacBook with a thin ,soft towel before putting in this briefcase . I am thinking to get a cace for my macBook. Hopefully it can fit into the briefcase.
