• The tablet will cover the Kindle, but buttons on the side may not have cut outs in the appropriate areas.

• Yes. I have to move the straps slightly to connect the charger or headphones, and I have to reach between the kindle and case to access the power button and volume controls. But that's not difficult. If that would annoy you, I would recommend you get a case specifically made for a kindle fire.

• If your Kindle is 7", I see no reason why it would not fit it.

• This case fits most 7" tablets. As this is a universal case, your mileage may vary in terms of how you prefer the fit. That being said, the tablet secures with elastic straps on each corner of the tablet. As such, this will fit a Kindle Fire HD 7.

• Not sure, but it fits the Samsung - Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. So if both tablets are same size, should be OK. (It also works as a stand which is handy.)
