- Answer Yes it does, I put the tablet in upside down with the charging port up. I cannot zip it all the way closed but I do charge my tablet that way and it doesn't fall out

- Answer Take your measurements the width and the length. I bought 3 of these. One for my Daughter, One for a Friend and One for myself. My Daughter has an ASUS 10.inch tablet, My Friend has an Apple. The Amazon Fire 7 HD is 101/8 inches long and fits inside the case. The inside measurements of the case are: 73/4 inches wide and 103/4 inches long. This should help you to make your decision. The case is well cushion and has a zipper pocket up front to store a cleaning cloth, stylus, etc.
