The approach I take is: 1. Insert the card you want to access into the adapter. 2. Plug the USB end of the adapter into an open port on your device. 3. The device should auto install the same as if you were using a USB drive or similar device. 4. Once installed, you can access the memory card as a drive on your device. I have used it with a Windows 10 desktop and Windows 7 Enterprise laptop. Hope that helps.

Simple pull it in, insert your card in the reader slot. Your pc should bring up the drive and you click on it. If not go to window explorer look for the card reader drive you are reading, click on it. View your files. I hope this helps and i made sense.
