A:AnswerI just tried it and it didn't work unfortunayely. Supposedly there are 3rd party converters out there that do, though. Not sure why this doesn't.
A:AnswerThe adapter gets its power from the USB-C connection you plug it into. The normal USB connector on the adapter provides enough power for my small external drive.
