QuestionI plug this into a C port on my Lenovo Yoga c930, and then plug and external monitor into the C on the Insignia, and a camera into the USB, and nothing works. Any help greatly appreciated, otherwise this thing is worthless. Thank you.

- Answer This adapter works on most computers that support DP Alt Mode. In your computer Display/Screen settings select Duplicate/Mirror or Extend.

QuestionHow do you get this to work with a Samsung Galaxy A01? No wifi (a cabin). The "rat tail" is connected to the phone. The USB-C port is connected to power, the hdmi is connected to the TV's hdmi1. No smartview on phone. TV is not smart. thx

- Answer The three ports are: standard usb (jump drive), hdmi port, and usb-c port. The usb-c port is used to plug in your charger to your laptop and will simultaneously charge your laptop while using any of the other ports. Hope this helps.

- Answer There is other wires to connect a phone to a MacBook Air. this is for connecting to another screen or monitor but they have cables that fits your phone to the laptop
