I would think so. It is fairly lightweight and always is aimed at what you are facing plus it can be adjusted up and down depending on your position.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably. The bright white light is very bright, especially at a couple feet. The bright spot is about 6 inches across at 2 feet. I don't know how long the batteries will last when the bright white LED is on, the package says "up to 4 hours" but of course that would be in one of the dimmer modes. Get a set of Eneloop NiMH rechargeables and you should be fine.
