If you have a button opener/pad, follow the leads to that, you connect to those two leads.

I had 3 screw in terminals on the outside of my garage opener casing (plastic) that has wires connected to them from the buttons on the wall. What you are essentially doing here is replacing/adding another "button", like the one on your wall, but this button has a wireless connection that you can use Siri to "push" the button. On mine, the 3 screw terminals on the outside of the opener that the wall button wires connected to were labelled as follows: Red (labelled 1), White (Labelled 2), and Black (Labelled 3) from left to right on mine. I tried red wire to red (left) and black wire to black (right), but it did not trigger open or close. So I did Red wire to red (left) terminal, and black wire to white (middle) terminal, and that worked. The right terminal probably has to do with the obstruction sensors.
