“How loud is the alarm and is it louder than Chamberlain?”

• When the door is closing via the Home app, the beeper in the ceiling mounted controller emits an alarm for 5 seconds before the door moves. The sound pressure level is about 45db. Much quieter than a smoke alarm but loud enough to be noticed by people in the garage area.

• It's loud enough to get your attention, but not as loud as the Chamberlain product.

• It’s loud. And it has a bunch of LEDS that flash when closing.
