Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't had this problem and I've had some extended outages. I will get some no response displays on my Home app, but quitting it and restarting it usually resolves it. I make sure that the Home app is terminated, I wipe it off the screen and make sure it is not in the background. I use an Apple TV for my home hub and I periodically reboot it because I have other devices that seem to need it rebooted. If your garage is on it's own circuit, tripping the circuit breaker off and on might be easier.
