• If possible, only connect to the 2.4 side of your system and you should be fine.

• I have an Orbi mesh system that uses 2.4 and 5 simultaneously on the same SSID (name) and was able to connect it without issue..

• I have a 5g / 2.4g router, just installed it with no problems at all. Router is pushing out both signals simultaneously.
