Just FYI, none of the suggestions made here or elsewhere have worked for me, with IOS 11 and this device. I've tried on multiple networks, all the variations, many many times. Just plain nope.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After you connect to Insignia Wifi, the wifi connecting screen pops up, and starts redirecting. On this screen, hit done after 2-3 seconds. Dont wait for the ‘Redirecting...’ screen to lapse. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you connect to the plug via WiFi and it opens your browser (cafe style) select your home network and enter your password. Even though the app says not to. Once it’s connexted to WiFi, hold the button on the plug. This puts it back into pairing. Connect again. Now your phone will be able to see it and connect because even though it’s in discovery mode it’s also connected to your home WiFi’. Think of it like your phone can only connect to one at a time but the plug can act as a temporary pass through. Worked for me 2x and nothing besides that method did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem. Eventually -- on about the twelfth try -- I was able to get the darn thing to connect to WiFi. The instructions are inadequate. I suspect they wrote them for universal application, for both iOS and Android. I used my iPhone and got it working in about an hour. I think I kept repeating the same steps over and over before it suddenly showed up in the app as a new device. By comparison, setting up my Phillips Hue light bulbs was a snap.
