“I am looking for a mouse with not too long a connection line....what is the shortest line on this”

• This has a 4.6' cord, according to Best Buy. If you want something shorter, you can just fold or wrap it until it is the length you want, then fasten it with a twist tie or Velcro to keep it that way.

• My computer is along the side of my desk. The line makes it just up over the side to the top, which means it's rubbing against and hitting anything I have on the side of my desk as I move the mouse around, and cannot wrap around the monitor to come down from the center. This is annoying. I've never heard of too long, only too short.
