“Hello, Plumber installed a Badger 5XP, 3/4 HP disposal this morning Disposal grinds loudly....plumber says that's normal until interior plastic piece breaks off Do I have an unit or installation issue? Thank you Ernie”

Mines does not make a loud noise but remember it is three quarter horsepower so it is very powerful naturally it would be louder than if you had smaller one but remember you have a 5 year manufacturer warranty so give them a call
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have the same issue. Just had the plumber install it and its very loud, as if there is a metallic object in there. The plumber had already removed the internal plug when connected the dishwasher drain. What was the solution for you, Ernie?
