• Hello maria. Thank you for your question! To cook dry beans in the Duo, you can select the Bean/Chili function or the Pressure Cook function. Once set, it will take time to come to pressure. Once it has come to pressure, the cook time will begin to countdown. Once the cooking time is complete the display will read End or will go into Keep Warm. For starchy foods like beans we always recommend a natural release. We hope this helps!

• Hello, to cook dry beans, you do have an automatic function button on your Instant Pot, or you can also cook your dry beans using the manual settings. It is best to purchase an Instant Pot cookbook which will give you many recipes. Also, many recipes can be found on you-tube.
