Is the core I3 the same as the Pentium gold null

Pentium Gold is a 2 core processor. The i3-9100 is 4 cores and 4 threads.

HPGamming, The Intel Core i3-9100 Processor has 4-Cores and can hit 4.2ghz Max Turbo Frequency whereas the Pentium Gold has only 2-Cores hitting Max Turbo of 3.1ghz. Also the Pentium Gold has less L3Cache and Integrated Graphics than the Intel Core i3, which relays to less execution units, therefore less efficient than the Intel Core i3.
