You will need a compatible motherboard for this cpu and sufficient cooler as it doesn't come with a cooler and make sure power supply compatible plus powerful enough and the most important part, make sure the pc case can fit all this without problems

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You know what, buddy, I produce audio. If your goal is to maintain function and throughout (bandwidth) you may enjoy it 12th gen. I have been strongly encouraged to accept an i5. They're great for that, generally. Here's the hair-splitter though. For audio production you need the throughput of data to be fast and the amount of data which can be processed in a live or real-time manner to be higher than many other users. So, while I can't get into this without mentioning that being on the latest generation of processor is always going to buy you more time before they release applications that run instruction sets that your generation does not have the capability to accept, I can tell you that I spent years extensively researching the processor that I wanted to use and this is what came of it. A low e d i7 processor is less capable than a high end i5 (OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO READ THE SECOND HALF OF THE SENTENCE) IF you want bandwidth on a per core basis, Ghz (speed), and what was call "general performance" as laypeople but what amounts to Bus Speed, Cache (various specs) and whatever YOU are after. If you put me on a windy road on very stinky tires, my VW Golf will absolutely thrash your Camaro
