“Does Best Buy offer the extended warranty through Total Tech, or do they allow to purchase it?”

• Intel already offers a three-year limited warranty with their CPUs. I'm not sure what you mean by if Best Buy "allows [you] to purchase it", whether that means the CPU without a Total Tech warranty or the warranty separate from the CPU. I don't think they will sell a warranty after the CPU has already been purchased however, and Best Buy provides links to read about their warranties.

• I had to purchase the total tech to have my items covered when I needed to have them serviced

• I went to the store specifically for this reason vs buying online. I was told that there was NO aftermarket warranty options on the cpus’s.
