- Answer The product you purchased included the preparation and efiling of up to 5 federal tax returns PLUS the download and preparation of ONE state tax return BUT NOT THE EFILING OF THE STATE RETURN. You will have the option to pay to efile the state return for an additional payment/fee, or you can choose to print it out and file it by mail to the Department of Revenue of the state for which you prepared a return.

- Answer You won't have to pay anything extra to e-file your federal return, but you will for your state return. I typically e-file my federal return and print/mail my state return.

- Answer The CD version did not ”access” the previous years data. It was the program that was installed from the disc which would be the same as the digital version for the like product.

- Answer My understanding is that 5 federal e- files are included with the purchase. Additional e-files will require the regular filing fee. I have used this in the past, and have had to pay for an additional state e-file for my daughter. The other option is to use the program, print the return, and file by snail mail

QuestionThe windows digital key code is not working, what is the solution to download?

- Answer After contacting Intuit and Bestbuy three different times, it was Intuit that got me fixed. I had the same problem and couldn't download the software with the key they provided. I had to reach out to Intuit support and had them verify the key. Once it was verified, they sent me a download link and a new key. So it's Intuit that has to fix the problem.

- Answer Yes, you can e-file your state return, but you will incur an extra fee to do so. E-filing your federal return is free.
