Q: Does the Deluxe edition for Windows allow user to file up to five federal returns free, like previous editions?

A: on my screen right below the main picture it says "interactive tour and documents" or something, and you find this: Includes 5 free federal e-files and one download of a TurboTax state product. State e-file sold separately.

Q: What does "e-file sold separately" mean since State 2020 is included?

A: The product you purchased included the preparation and efiling of up to 5 federal tax returns PLUS the download and preparation of ONE state tax return BUT NOT THE EFILING OF THE STATE RETURN. You will have the option to pay to efile the state return for an additional payment/fee, or you can choose to print it out and file it by mail to the Department of Revenue of the state for which you prepared a return.

Q: If I purchase this product (Intuit TurboTax Deluxe Federal + E File + State 2020) will I still have to PAY a FEE to E-file my Federal and State Taxes?

A: You won't have to pay anything extra to e-file your federal return, but you will for your state return. I typically e-file my federal return and print/mail my state return.

Q: I have never done my own taxes, but want to try. I started a second job in August 2020 and sold a house and purchased a house. Will this be easy enough to do now that I have two w-2s and this sell/purchase?

A: Yes, the software will let you add multiple W-2's and will walk you through the tax ramifications of your home sale and purchase.

Q: I have used the CD in the past because it accessed the prior year's data while the digital version did not. Is that still the case?

A: The CD version did not ”access” the previous years data. It was the program that was installed from the disc which would be the same as the digital version for the like product.

Q: After purchasing the turbo tax product; is there any other fees we are going to incur when we Efile? Would we still be charged for the money to be deposited in the bank because it is being done electronically? Is $49 the total we will pay to file and dep

Q: Apart from Federal, how many states can I create the returns for? I need to file returns for 2 states, so asking that question,

A: Hi Only one state and then you have to purchase another state.

Q: If I want to file more that five returns how do I get permission to file those returns? What is the charge? Is there a product that will let me file more that 10 returns? Thanks

A: My understanding is that 5 federal e- files are included with the purchase. Additional e-files will require the regular filing fee. I have used this in the past, and have had to pay for an additional state e-file for my daughter. The other option is to use the program, print the return, and file by snail mail
