QuestionI would like to have the same source viewable in multiple rooms. Can I purchase an additional receiver to operate with the same transmitter, or does each receiver only work with an individual transmitter?

- Answer IOGEAR says: The GW3DHDKIT is one to one only , you cannot add additional receivers. Please look at the GWMRHDKIT . This will allow you to connect up to 3 receivers and this kit comes with one transmitter and 2 receiver. Once again thank you for choosing IOGEAR

- Answer IOGEAR says: The GW3DHDKIT will send a full HD or 3D signal to a receiver at a remote location . In order to transmit 3D you must have a 3D source and a 3D projector or TV. Thank you for choosing IOGEAR.

QuestionI have a IOGear wireless HD1080p.Best Buy sold it to me For porch TV. I understood I would be able to chg chls/use DVR like on wall mounted TV using same IOGear in hs. But I have to go to office to chg chl! No features? Tired of running. Want FF.Help!

- Answer IOGEAR says : There is an IR blast cable that must be connected to the transmitter. This cable has 3 IR sensors. Find the location of the IR sensor in your cable box . Once found stick one of the 3 sensors directly over this sensor. THIS MUST BE DIRECTLY OVER THE SENSOR. Now you should be able to use the cable remote pointed directly at the front of the GW3DHDKIT receiver. If it still does not work try changing the IR frequency. The GW3DHDKIT has 3 built in frequencies. As long as you cable box is 56KHZ or lower this should work. If you are still having issues call IOGEAR support at 866-946-4327 . QuestionI am having trouble with my set up. I have it shooting a directv signal across a room, about 20-25 feet at most, and it skips out on any channel that's not a local one. All local channels through the directv receiver work fine. Any fixes for this?

- Answer sounds like a problem with your signal into iogear check signal strength andc onnections. if it works well connected to dvd your problem is signal iogear support should tell yoou this butt hey are not helpful

QuestionI just purchased this unit and I can not get it to work on my Samsung tv, pass through works, but when I turn on my second tv, neither one will have picture, but it works fine when I use a monitor as a second tv, just the Samsung is causing problems...

QuestionI own Actiontek system now. The biggest headache I experience is frequent tendency for screen to freeze and loose sync with the transmitter. Is the IOGEAR Receiver any more stable and is it easier to keep in sync with the transmitter?

- Answer In my experience, not very stable. Maybe I have a defective unit... Seemed to work fine with Samsung Blu-ray player, but now won't work at all. Definitely spotty with FiOS box. Good luck finding a reliable one. I am trying a Nyrius Aries Pro. Comes in a few days.

- Answer We use this transmitter with a TIVO Roamio OTR. The Transmitter remote is only used by us to turn the transmitter and receiver ON & OFF for reception of a second television... The channel changing is done with the TIVO remote (peanut)... So to answer your question, "NO", the remote will NOT change channels from the sending room... Hope this helps. I strongly urge you to go into your Best Buys and listen to the folks there, regarding your particular setup... They helped us plus we bought GEEK Squad support for home installation.

QuestionCan I plug a soundbar into the HDMI out on the transmitter and anything that is plugged into the HDMI input will run audio through the soundbar which is plugged into HDMI output? I know this port is usually for a 2nd TV.

- Answer you can get a Isignia digital to analog converter box at BB and it has an hdmi out put the Model # is NS-DXA3 this is also a tv receiver

QuestionI have Comcast Cable service. One Samsung TV is in living Room connected to Comcast. Another TV is in Basement, Insignia, not connected to Cable. Is this device will work for transmitting signals to Basement TV from Living Room Cable connected TV?

- Answer The general answer is yes, it should. I have a TV in the den connected to Spectrum cable and use this to control my Samsung TV in the living room that's not connected to cable. As with you, there's no line of sight in my case but it's probably not as far apart as to a basement. That shouldn't make a difference as long as your wifi signal is strong enough. The tricky part isn't the audio/video signal; it's the IR signal for the remote. I'm not sure if the distance or Comcast DVR will cause a problem. It's easy to set up so the best thing would be to try it out and return it on the off chance it doesn't work.

- Answer I am using ARC with my Onkyo receiver and it works with the TV and speakers. However, CEC isn't working to auto change the selection of the BluRay that is connected to the transmitter.
