• Best Buy said with this particular speaker you can pair up to 8 of them.

• You can only pair one speaker which become a set. When paired one speaker becomes left channel and one becomes right channel. Bluetooth then will only connect to left channel when paired. Guide indicates that only one additional speaker can be paired to make a set. I have 2 of them paired for the pool area. Hope this helps a little.
