• I never use windshield mount configurations because the windshield constantly changes temperature which will cause the suction cup to fail. The product comes with a dashboard base for the unit to suction onto. This really helps people who have a heavily textured dashboard. I’m confident that the dashboard mount configuration will not fail.

• The suction cup is great for the windshield and stays even when direct sun is on it all day and has stayed for many days in the sun with no loss of suction or performance. The dash part will work great, but make sure you install the platform that comes with it and it will make it a smooth surface like a windshield and will stick with no issues.
