It comes with a dashboard plate with adhesive on it for secure mounting.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it depends on the surface. In my previous car, it would not hold on the window and I didn't have enough dash surface so had to use a vent mount. Horrible. In my new car, there is a suitable place and it is not in my line of vision and it holds great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is a two piece mount. The half that attaches to the dash does well on an uneven surface (or it did on mine). Then the part holding the phone attaches to the smooth surface that was created. So far no problem or loosening.
