• I tried to transfer and I could not get the disc to stick again on the dashboard in my new car.

• It is removable. The base is super sticky and requires some heat to remove easily. Otherwise you have to pull really hard. You have to wash the base in hot water afterwards to get it ready for a new car according to the guide and then stick it on.

• no. I removed mine and tried to install in the next car. it was never the same despite washing it off etc. on the plus side it does stick very well the first time.
