Yes. I moved mine multiple times without it loosing the stickiness.

I’ve had mine dismount while driving from the heat coming through the windshield and I have found once you dismount it from the disk base the suction cup does not retain the factory sticky even when washed in warm water as the manufacturer recommends. If you can mount somewhere out of direct sunlight it would most likely work great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The suction cup works well on my dash here in PA. I do not use the adhesive pad, just the suction cup. I was moving mine from vehicle to vehicle. You can do that. Need to make sure you mount it so you can reach the little tab on the suction cup so you can pull up on it. It sticks so well that I was afraid that I might tear the suction cup. I purchased a second one. I ended up mounting it on the side of an area on the dash in my Wrangler. No need to mount it on top.
