There is a space at the bottom where you can plug your phone in while it sits in the cradle. I’m not sure if this is what you were asking.

You still need to run a cord from your phone to your 12 volt or usb port in your car. It does have a small cut out at the bottom of the holder to make it easier to access the port on the bottom of your phone.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think it would hold a flip phone. Those would be difficult to use hands free anyway because they’d have to be flipped open in the mount. There is an open area at the bottom for a cord to plug in.
