• Hi Carol, The best way to remove the suction cup is by lifting the locking lever on the base, and slowly peeling the suction cup from one corner. Once the air can get in, it should come right off.

• Open (pull up) the latch lever on the base of the mount to release the suction and then carefully peel the suction cup from the glass or dash if it is still sticking a bit.

• There is 2 ways to attach this to your car. either you can use the suction cup and attach it to the windshield or you can use the included adhesive pad to stick to your dash and then that gives you somewhere slick to attach the suction cup on your dash
