- Answer Works with a case. However, I would strongly recommend using a MagSafe case WITH magnets in the case. Much stronger hold. I wouldn’t trust this with an iPhone 14 Pro Max in a case without magnets.

- Answer Hi there! With CarPlay, your phone connects to the car via Bluetooth, wifi, or the USB-C cable (depending on your vehicle model). The Velox Dash mount has no data transfer capabilities, so it would not trigger CarPlay when you attach your phone. The mount will charge your phone, but you'll still need to connect through one of the other methods if you want to use CarPlay. Thanks!
