• I would think it is basically the same thing. When you run into the radio it is at preamp levels and the internal amplifier does the work. It should be the same running into the amp but you need to be sure you have volume controls so you don't run in at full power.

• Yes you can. You will have to wire in a switch to turn on your amps.
