QuestionI have a new gaming graphics card that uses display port, but an older monitor that uses DVI to run 144hz. Will this adapter allow 144hz to pass through the display port graphics card to the DVI monitor?

- Answer Hello, The j5create - DisplayPort-to-DVI Adapter (JDA134) is considered a passive-adapter and is, unfortunately, not capable of achieving a 144hz refresh rate. In order to go from a graphics card with a DisplayPort to a monitor with DVI, and achieve 144hz refresh rate, I recommend that you look for a DisplayPort to DVI-D Adapter Active Adapter
