This Enclosure is intended to let you connect a 3.5 inch SATA hard drive through USB 3.0 for storing and transferring large amounts of data. You should be able to use your Toshiba HDD with the Enclosure, unless the HDD is corrupted or not functioning correctly, it will not work.
