The USB-C 10Gbps port does not support video out. To have the HDMI and DP ports to function, you must connect both USB-C host connection to the macbook pro. Please use HDMI and DP cables, no conversions. The USB-C 10Gbps port, is to connect the #2 host cable for the M.2 NVMe to work on computers that only have (1) USB-C port. ** If you require further assistance; please contact the j5create Technical Support team and we will be glad to further assist if necessary. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What do you mean by "If I drive monitor directly from the MacBook it works fine."?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I really liked it, but at the time of purchase they didn’t have software for the M1 processor so it would do some things on the USB side and the second monitor, but when I plugged the usb-c in for power it would not charge. I was told to look for drivers or software, but at the time there was not any. Since I bought this for the home office I returned it and got a Plugable device that does the same with another screen option for about $30.00 cheaper.
