QuestionI have macbook pro with m1pro chip connected to the dock. If I drive monitor directly from the macbook it works fine. If I connect monitor to the 10Gbps slot on the side of the dock the monitor does not detect anything. Faulty device or operator error?

- Answer The USB-C 10Gbps port does not support video out. To have the HDMI and DP ports to function, you must connect both USB-C host connection to the macbook pro. Please use HDMI and DP cables, no conversions. The USB-C 10Gbps port, is to connect the #2 host cable for the M.2 NVMe to work on computers that only have (1) USB-C port. ** If you require further assistance; please contact the j5create Technical Support team and we will be glad to further assist if necessary. QuestionDoes this work for mobile devices? Does it supply extra power to the M.2 port as other M.2 Enclosures say High powered device and it needs more power to function on those device that cannot supply enough power via USB-C port?

- Answer It can charge your device when you have already a powersource juicing it 100w or more to power the device itself and connect more storage capabilities on your windows or mac.

QuestionHi there! I just purchased a 2022 ROG Zephyrus G14. It has 2 USB Type C ports -- one on either side of the machine. I am wondering if this docking station would work for dual monitors and be able to access the NVME if I use a USB-C extension cord. Thanks!

QuestionI have the intel Macbook Pro 2020 and would like a dock that supports TWO monitors (NOT Mirrored Monitors but Dual Monitors) I'm guessing only a dock with 2 USB-c connections can pull that off. Will this one accomplish that?

- Answer If your MacBook Pro 2020 has (2) Thunderbolt 3 ports side by side, the Dock will be compatible with your computer and you will be able to have dual external displays in extend mode. Please make sure to use HDMI to HDMI cables and DP to DP cables. We cannot guarantee functionality with conversion cables. Thank you.
