Yes, the JCD382 will work with additional monitors and allow the option of duplicating or extending the monitors. ** Feel free to contact the Technical Support team mentioned on the packaging for further assistance or if you have any other questions and someone will be glad to assist you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will be able to connect 1 external display with the HDMI port. You will need an additional adapter for the second display. I use the insignia NS-PU378CHM which has an HDMI port, thunderbolt port, and usb-a. I connect my other HDMI to that adapter, as well as my power cable, and plug this into the thunderbolt port on the dock (port closest to the HDMI port). As long as your total resolution is within what your hardware supports, you should have no issue connecting 2 displays without mirroring.

I didn't try other configs (I have a portable USB-powered monitor for travel so this adapter didn't work - I just used a Firebolt-USB adapter on the road). But I imagine if you're using externally powered monitors, you could connect one HDMI monitor to the one HDMI port, use one of the Thunderbolt ports to connect another HDMI monitor with an adapter, and leave the 2nd Thunderbolt port for power to your laptop. That should allow you 3 displays including your laptop without mirroring. I use a similar setup at home with a larger dock (2 HDMI ports) that sits on my desk.
