Yes. That's pretty much my setup. You'll need to go into your power settings if you're going to use the laptop with lid closed since it will go into sleep mode unless disabled. Once you get you monitors connected, press Window Key + P and select Extend Display.

You can use this device to add two additional monitors (1 VGA and 1 HDMI), and then you can close your laptop lid to only display on the monitors.
