QuestionCan you use this adapter to connect to a Macbook Pro with (early 2020) i5 processor, and connect two external displays at the same time for extended screens (i.e., not mirroring) using both the VGA for one screen and the hdmi for another screen?

- Answer This device will only allow you to connect to one external display. You will not be able to use both VGA and HDMI at the same exact time.

QuestionCan this be used with the Samsung Tab S7 Plus? I want to hardwire the tablet!

- Answer Unfortunately, the Ethernet port on the JCD376 requires an installation of a driver and will not work with Samsung Tab S7 Plus. Another option will be the JCA374, the Ethernet port is Plug n Play as well as the HDMI, USB-A and Power-in ports.

QuestionIs this compatible with a MacBook Pro 2020 using an Apple USB SuperDrive? If I try to connect my SuperDrive to an Insignia Multiport Adapter I get a no power error. If I use an Apple Multiport Adapter my SuperDrive works fine.

- Answer USB-C Multiport Adapters with Power Delivery provide power to connected devices up to 60W via USB-C and may not be enough power to run the Apple USB SuperDrive. The Apple USB SuperDrive may have specific power requirements, and some adapters might not deliver sufficient power for it to function correctly. The Apple Multiport Adapter may have been designed to meet the power needs of the SuperDrive.
