If your Mac Mini is a 4th Generation or later (Release date October 30, 2018) it will have the USB-C port required on the PC end. On your 2nd display you'd like to attach, ensure it has an HDMI input. If your Mac Mini is an older version, or display is older and doesn't have HDMI input, you'll need a different adapter than this one.
