• A:Answer Unfortunately because the Samsung a50 does not support the DP alt-mode feature which is when the phone can support display/video via the USB-C port the JCA153G will not work for you. Q: QuestionI bought this for my new Samsung galaxy tab A (8.4",2020) to connect to my newer TV's tried different hdmi ports on two different TV's and it still doesnt work. is this the wrong adaptor ? or maybe my tab doesn't support it?

• A:Answer In order for this device to work it requires that your tablet supports a feature called DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB Type-C. This feature allows your tablet to output a display signal over your USB Type-C port, and unfortunately, your tablet does not support this feature.

• A:Answer The cable will likely allow laptop to laptop transfer, but I cannot say this with certain knowledge. I use the cable to link my iMac to a Samsung TV so I can play jpgs on the TV. While it works for my intended purpose, (1) it is awkward to control the images transmitted to the TV and, (2) the cable connection causes the icons on my computer to shrink to about 1/4 of their normal size, making their control equally difficult.

• A:Answer No, the JCA153G will not work for the LG K51. The LG K51 will need to support "DisplayPort Alt. Mode" to output video. The JUA165C will work but you may come across "HDCP' which is a copyright protection if you are going to stream with Netflix, Disney Plus. Hulu, etc.
